Description

The perfect choice for applications when heat may be needed regardless of outdoor temperature. These units provide cooling or heating at the turn of a dial. When the unit is set for HEAT, a thermostat cycles the heating element on and off to help maintain a constant room temperature. (Note: These units are designed only for supplemental electric heat.) Like all Comfort-Aire room air conditioners, these models meet or exceed minimum EER requirements. Two cooling and two heating fan speeds offer more cooling/heating control and quiet operation. Controls also offer a fan-only setting The REG Series is made of painted, galvanized steel for protection against corrosion. They feature a stone white decorator front with front-mounted, removable filter and slide-out chassis. In addition all models feature a protective rear grille. The REG-243A comes with electronic controls and a full-function remote. Features include 12-hour on/off timer, auto restart and one degree temperature adjustment. 23,500 BTUH cooling, 11,600 BTUH electric heat. 208-230V. Maximum wall thickness: 6-1/4"
